Songs for Survival, by Aurora Brush

Songs for Survival is a small 1.5” x 1.5” booklet of copper etched images drawn to scale and reproduced as risograph prints. Each etching depicts a various ritual act of everyday life used to cope in cases of struggle or challenging conditions. The tempo of the book is short and sweet like a tune hummed under one's breath, a series of precious moments that act as the materialization of a silent prayer or wish. The book also features a secret fold out page and letter pressed covers.
